UNIFID offers individuals and institutions decentralised idenities and verifiable credentials.

Following are the key functioning of UNIFID

  1. User/Holder requests decentralised idenity from Issuers, which can be held as verifiable credentials in thier Identity Wallet (part of UNIFID Mobile app)

  2. Issuer, validates/verifies/confirms identitiy and issues a Verifiable Credential in the form of decentralised identity

  3. Verifier, will verify the credential presented by the user.

UNIFID adopts strong consent framework, all verification requets will have to explicitly accepted by the user for the verifier to receive credential data.
